1. Privacy Policy

Welcome to Shouffle ("we", "our", or "the Bot"). We care deeply about your privacy and want to be completely transparent about how the Bot interacts with your data. This policy outlines what limited information is processed when you add Shouffle to your Discord server or interact with it.

Data We Collect & Process

Shouffle operates using minimal data tracking required to execute standard Discord bot features:

  • User Identifiers: Your unique Discord User ID, Username, and Server/Guild IDs are read to process commands, enforce access permissions, and customize server features.
  • Command Context Data: When you execute a command, the text content of that specific command, channel ID, and timestamp are processed in real-time to generate a prompt response.

Data Storage & Retention

We do not store your private conversations or structural server layouts. Any configuration data (such as custom bot prefixes, server settings, or toggles) is stored securely in our database. This structural configuration data is retained until the Bot is removed from your server or until a request for manual erasure is made.

Data Deletion & Rights

You retain full ownership and control over your data. If you wish to have your server configurations or user-associated data permanently deleted from our system, you can remove the Bot from your server or contact the support team directly. All configuration data related to that server will be fully wiped out within 30 days of uninstallation.

2. Terms of Service

By inviting Shouffle to your Discord guild or interacting with its features, you explicitly agree to remain bound by these simple Terms of Service. Please review them carefully.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use Shouffle only for legitimate, safe communication purposes. You are strictly prohibited from:

  • Attempting to reverse engineer, duplicate, or exploit bugs/vulnerabilities within the Bot's software.
  • Utilizing the Bot to violate Discord's official Terms of Service or Community Guidelines.
  • Flooding or spamming command structures to intentionally degrade service stability for other guilds.

⚠️ Service Termination: We reserve the right to restrict access, block individual users, or blacklist entire Discord servers from utilizing Shouffle if structural abuse or system exploitation is detected.

Disclaimer of Warranty

Shouffle is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. While we strive for maximum uptime and stability, we do not guarantee uninterrupted operational availability or complete freedom from code bugs.

Limitation of Liability

Under no circumstances shall the developers or operators of Shouffle be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use, misuse, or inability to interact with the Bot.
